DietMD®
DietMD physician-led weight loss program

For Diabetes Management

Dr. J. Shaun Murphy, an internist at Addison Internal Medicine, leads the DietMD® weight loss program. This non-surgical and physician-led weight loss program focuses on diet and nutrition to specifically target, treat, and, in some cases, even reverse type 2 diabetes.

Using specialized diets created by physicians, continuous glucose monitoring, and medications, DietMD®'s type-2 diabetes patients with an A1C of 7 or higher saw an average 2.53-point reduction in their A1C. Additionally, type 2 diabetes patients no longer needed insulin within 4-6 weeks of starting the DietMD® weight loss program.
